Featuring some of the UK’s best session musicians, Get Funked have established a reputation as one of the leading live function bands combining a broad repertoire of floor-filling favourites with a dynamic performance and audience engagements.
Get Funked’s repertoire covers almost any pop and rock genre from the 1960s to current chart hits with energetic renditions of favourites from The Jackson 5 to Queen, Prince to Madonna, David Bowie to Justin Timberlake, Kings of Leon to Pharrell Williams.
Members of Get Funked have played with artists including Robbie Williams, Michael Buble, James Brown, The Killers, Leona Lewis, Damon Albarn, Mary J Blige, Amy Winehouse,, Joss Stone, and many others.
Providing a line-up of anything from seven to 17 members, and regularly updating and adding to their repertoire, they can also rehearse special requests to fit in with particular themes or preferences. In addition to their electric performance, the band can also provide staging, PA and lighting and effects, including bespoke projections, and a DJ.
