Sue Perkins

Originally one half of comedy duo Mel & Sue, Sue Perkins now presents on a vast range of subjects, from brass bands to baking.

Sue has written for French & Saunders, presented both Light and Late Lunches on Channel 4 and has appeared on numerous BBC panel shows, on both television and radio. In partnership with Giles Coren she presented The Supersizers Eat... and they now take a 21st century look at sustainability, living The Good Life together.

Sue discovered another talent when she won the BBC's conducting competition, Maestro, going on to lead the orchestra at Proms in the Park. Beyond writing and conducting, Sue also focusses on food, presenting Channel 4's The Big Food Fight and (reunited with Mel), The Great British Bake Off.

An investigation into Royal weddings (from George III onwards) has led to some interesting conclusions, and Sue muses on this and other subjects in her witty and incisive speeches.
