Patrick Monahan is a half-Irish, half-Iranian Geordie. He claims his family spent most of their holidays in customs. Despite, or maybe because of this colourful ancestry, Patrick is an increasingly successful comedian and a natural compere.
A great observer of life and people, Patrick's mixture of charm, cheek and improvisation has made his a popular live performer with over half a dozen Edinburgh shows and performances from Luxembourg to Qatar to his name.
Patrick was the winner of ITV's search for a new comedy star, Show Me The Funny, the prize for which included a UK tour and DVD release. Patrick has also appeared on The Armstrong and Miller Show, That's So Last Week, Destination Unknown and a host of TV 'list' programmes. His smart observations and good-natured humour have also been put to good use warming up for the likes of Jonathan Ross, Catherine Tate and Paul O'Grady.
'Patrick was great! He was a really nice friendly guy and went down a storm.' William Reed
