After breaking up with his original comedy partner Mike Myers, Neil joined the Comedy Store Players and became one of the most talented improvisers in Britain. He has appeared on almost all the radio panel shows, starred in several films and toured with Eddie Izzard.
Without any warning, Neil's life changed after playing a hard-nosed businessman in TV commercials for Orange. In a flash of inspiration, he decided to invent his very own self-help guru in the shape of L. Vaughan Spencer.
Spencer, or "Talking Bull" as native Red Indians allegedly named him, is shockingly plausible. He is the 'shaman for the layman', the 'iconoclast who moves too fast', taking time out from his Watford Warrior seminars to 'help the helpless succeed.'
Interacting beautifully with his audience, Neil parodies every American self-help cliché with chilling attention to detail. His armoury includes pulsing muzak, ground-breaking techniques like 'letterology' (only eat foods that begin with your initials), and the successor to feng shui, 'tong shui' - success through the correct hairstyle.
