Emma Freud's name appears in the credits of Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill and The Vicar of Dibley. As well as script editing comedy masterpieces, she is a trustee of Comic Relief and co-producer of the charity's live TV specials.
Emma began her career as a musician on Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells tour. She then played keyboard for Chrissie Hynde and went on to act and compose for a host of theatre productions.
After a move into television, Emma travelled throughout the Middle East presenting Sins of the Flesh. She also hosted the BAFTA and Turner Prize ceremonies, Edinburgh Nights, Pillow Talk and the arts review, Theatreland.
Emma has fronted Radio One shows and presented a raft of documentaries on Radio Four. She is a regular celebrity interviewer on Loose Ends, and the voice of Can You Make a Genius, Crocodiles and Extraordinary People.
