Alex Zane

Wild haired and looking not unlike one of the bands he often interviews, Alex Zane is a popular TV and radio presenter most often seen on Channel 4 and E4, and is also an acclaimed stand up comedian.

At just 18, Alex was a finalist in the open-mic competition So You Think You're Funny. Whilst studying medicine at UCL, he hosted his first radio show on the campus station. Within a short time he was a regular on London's alternative music station Xfm and hosting shows on MTV.

Since then, Alex has combined TV, radio, and comedy with work on Channel 4, E4, BBC Three, NME Radio, and shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.

A likeable, charming and charismatic presence, Alex's comedy combines warm audience interaction with tales from his own life. Whether it's the shared experience of school days or his more unique encounter with Lee Ryan from Blue, Alex never fails to win over an audience.
