BIOGRAPHY
Already a well-established name on the corporate circuit, Rod is steadily building his television profile. He won the BBC's Funny Business competition and has embarked on a national tour with Paddy McGuinness.
A close friend of Joe Calzaghe, Rod also created the character Mario, based on Italian-Welsh families, and performed in Las Vegas ahead of Calzaghe's Light-Heavyweight World Champion win. He has also supported Russell Brand and was a finalist in the respected So You Think You're Funny competition.
With his charming tall tales of life in his homeland, Rod has been likened to 'a young Dave Allen' by Peter Kay. He has written and appeared in several sitcoms for BBC Wales.
Rod was also briefly a YouTube phenomenon when he wrote and performed the Cardiff City anthem 'Do The Ayatollah'.
