Myleene Klass

Fee Band

Since her early pop success, Myleene has returned to her first love of classical music, recording hit albums and presenting classical programmes on TV and radio. She has been a regular on screen as both presenter and guest, on chat shows, music programmes and quiz and panel show, including her famed time in the jungle with I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Away from broadcasting she’s also been a bestselling writer, businesswoman, and charity ambassador.

Biography

Myleene Klass first rose to fame as part of the pop group Hear’Say, but she has since become better known as an accomplished presenter, writer, classical musician and businesswoman.

A former student at the Royal Academy of Music, after working as a session musician Myleene briefly moved away from classical music to pop. Auditioning for what was then the first in a new wave of TV talent shows, Popstars, she became a part of one of the fast-selling pop acts of all time. She soon returned to her classical roots, however, recording her debut solo album Moving On, featuring popular classical, film music and arrangements of pop songs. Subsequent albums reached No.1 in the classical charts, making her one of the few performers to top both pop and classical charts separately.

Having already presented some television during the pop phase of her career, Myleene again incorporated her love of classical music hosting the Classical Brit Awards at the Royal Albert Hall. She went on to become a regular on screen, as both presenter and guest, on chat shows, music programmes and quiz and panel shows from Loose Women to 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mastermind to Last Choir Standing to The One Show. She hosted her own weekend breakfast show for Classic FM, as well as spots on Radio 2 and TalkRadio and is now a presenter on Smooth Radio. Her profile experienced a further shift with a hugely popular stint in the jungle on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Away from the studio Myleene has developed a number of business interests. Alongside marketing and brand ambassador roles she has designed her own line of babywear and children’s footwear, and founded a cosmetics range. She wrote the bestselling pregnancy diary
My Bump and Me, and has worked extensively to raise the profile of a number of charities.
