BIOGRAPHY
Singapore-based Melissa Hyak anchors Primetime News, Channel News Asia's flagship bulletin covering all the significant global developments. Prior to that she anchored East Asia Tonight.
Melissa has undertaken several overseas assignments, from the Macau Handover to Taiwanese Presidential Elections. She also served as Hong Kong correspondent.
Melissa has a Masters in Southeast Asian studies. Away from the television newsroom she is an accomplished classical percussionist and a guest player with Singapore's Symphony Orchestra.
