BIOGRAPHY

Kirsty Young attracted a huge amount of media attention as the original, desktop presenter of Channel 5 News. She now hosts the long-running Desert Island Discs on Radio 4 and BBC1's Crimewatch.

After 5 Kirsty presented ITV's News at Ten and lunchtime bulletins. Away from the newsroom she has hosted Rat Trap, The People Versus and What Will They Think of Next? She has also guest presented Have I Got News For You and The Time, The Place.
