Kate Gerbeau is a former member of the Channel 5 news team. She moved to the network from the BBC, where as Kate Sanderson she was a regular presenter on Watchdog, Breakfast, Heaven & Earth and originally Newsround.
Alongside news programmes Kate also presented a number of factual and current affairs documentaries on Channel 5. She is now the weekday evening news presenter of British Forces News on the armed forces broadcaster BFBS TV.
Kate has wing-walked over the English Channel for Record Breakers, reported from the scene of an erupting volcano in Monserrat and covered an earthquake in India. Her under cover film on the plight of children in Russian orphanages earned her a BAFTA Award.
