BIOGRAPHY
The rapidly rising comedian Jon Richardson has impressed live and radio audiences nationwide with his often downbeat look at the world.
Jon's break came when he was discovered by the BBC New Comedy contest, which led to him supporting Alan Carr on the 60-date Tooth Fairy tour. He then took to the airwaves partnering Russell Howard on BBC 6 Music. The combination of Howard's whimsy and Richardson's cynicism won a cult audience.
Jon's irascible persona and irritation at the 'needlessly fast pace of change' has earned him a clutch of stand-up awards, and a Best Newcomer nomination at Edinburgh. He hosts his own radio show, regularly guests on Radio 4 panel programmes and has appeared on Live at The Apollo.

THE CLIENT'S VIEW

A good speaker or presenter is someone who takes a brief and does their own research into the industry. Somebody who empathises with the audience and tailors their material accordingly, but at the same time does not swear or take the mickey. Obviously they need to be entertaining, witty and when presenting keep to the script. If they fulfill all these objectives they can be the highlight of the event.
