BIOGRAPHY
Hannah Gadsby is an award-winning comedian who has toured extensively and is increasingly a regular face on TV in her native Australia. She has also started to make waves at the international comedy festivals, notably the Edinburgh Fringe.
Critics have applauded her droll delivery of smart word-play and often bittersweet observations. One critic referred to Hannah as 'deadpan perfection.' Her laconic style almost makes a mockery of the laid-back Australian cliché as she recounts (in her words) 'tales of mild success and utter failure in a manner of vague indifference and total incredulity.'
Along with thoughts on her own life Hannah has covered everything from high art to growing up in a small town in her shows. Her clever, wry, self-deprecating material has won over audiences from the US to Vietnam.
Hannah is a regular on Australian TV's satirical panel show Spicks And Specks, appeared weekly on Adam Hills in Gordon Street Tonight, and has hosted her own TV specials. She's currently working on her first book and DVD.
