One of the BBC's foremost sports commentators on TV and radio, Andrew works primarily in golf and rugby. He covers the Ryder Cup and all golf's majors, as well as the RBS 6 Nations and Rugby World Cup.

Andrew has quickly risen through the ranks at 5 Live and the BBC News Channel. He now sits alongside the likes of Nick Faldo and Brian Moore, covering some of the world's greatest sports events.

After dinner Andrew describes memorable encounters with the stars. He tells of the pitfalls of commentating on weightlifting at the Beijing Olympics, and when pressed pulls off the finest impression of Colin Montgomerie on the circuit.

In addition to his golf and rugby duties, Andrew covers Wimbledon and the Boat Race. He has also written for The Times on the secrets of on-course commentary - and the protocol for dealing with someone who has just shot 10 over par.
