BIOGRAPHY
Since winning the BBC New Comedy Award, Alan Carr has become one of the hottest stand-ups in Britain. He is best known as host of his own Channel 4 chat show Alan Carr: Chatty Man, and as co-host of The Sunday Night Project alongside Justin Lee Collins.
Alan's camp, exuberant style belies a razor sharp wit and a talent for railing against the irritants and idiocies of his life and the modern world. Whether it's celebrity culture or his dating nightmares, Alan's combination of the upbeat and the cynical has made him a hit on and off screen.
As well as his own shows, Alan has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and the Royal Variety Performance. He has also embarked on sell-out tours and enjoys the record for the biggest selling comedy debut DVD, with Tooth Fairy.
