Broadcaster and journalist Nadine Dereza presents business, news and entertainment programmes on TV. She hosted CNBC’s IoT: Powering the Digital Economy, exploring how digital innovation is reshaping industries, a subject she continues to champion as a Non-Executive Director at OpenProperty Tech, where AI and blockchain are transforming the property market. She has also presented for Associated Press, BBC, CNN, SABC, Simply Money, Sky TV, Summit TV and TalkRadio.
Named Financial Journalist of the Year during her time at the Financial Times and Summit TV, Nadine has covered the full breadth of the business world, from founder stories to boardroom strategy, and from economic policy to emerging technology. She has interviewed many key international policy and decision-makers and politicians.
Nadine is co-founder and Media Director of Babaco Media, a communications consultancy specialising in preparing clients for media interviews, presentations and public appearances. She is a judge for The Business Books Awards and IBC’s Accelerators Media Innovation Awards, bringing together world-leading and new industry players from across the global media, entertainment and technology communities. She was previously appointed by the UK Government as a Non-Executive Director of the WorldSkills Board, promoting best practice apprenticeships and vocational training.
