Ken was a revelation. Again we had a record number of attendees for the closing slot ( one normally characterised by a steady stream of departures to catch trains out! ) . This time , we had a great attendance and everyone stayed to the end . Ken was funny, honest , challenging , insightful and he received a very enthusiastic round of extended applause at the end . Richly deserved .

We were keen to find a speaker who would take some time to understand our industry, have a flexible approach and give an interesting and informative speech. Ken delivered on all those points.
He was happy to be introduced to our members and, following his speech, took the time to answer a wide range of questions.
Whilst Ken covered some serious and topical issues, he was also very humorous and had some interesting stories to tell!

Ken did very well, reaction has been incredibly positive! In fact we had to stop the audience asking questions and Ken talking as the band was waiting to come on!

Ken was an excellent speaker and even took questions from the audience which went down really well. Feedback has been really positive but now we have the unenviable task of thinking who will follow him for the 2010 dinner!

Ken was very charming and stayed around afterwards to mingle with guests and have a few drinks. He was very gracious towards Boris and although he gave his political opinions, this wasn't so pushy as to alienate anyone who disagreed with him.
