BIOGRAPHY

As the most successful jockey in National Hunt Racing history, Ulsterman Richard Dunwoody is revered by fellow professionals.

Richard rode an extraordinary 1,699 winners, and became champion jockey three times. To the racing public, he is best known for his partnership with Desert Orchid. The pair won seven races, including the King George VI Chase.

Since leaving racing, Richard has taken on a series of challenges to test his physical and mental strength. As well as running marathons, he has competed in the gruelling World Cup Rally across the Sahara, trekked to the South Pole and competed on Strictly Come Dancing.

Richard is a seasoned motivational and after dinner speaker, sharing his lessons of how to stay at the top of your game in a highly competitive environment.
