BIOGRAPHY
Jeremy Black is Professor of History at the University of Exeter. He is a senior fellow at the Centre for the Study of America and the West at the Foreign Policy Research Institute in Philadelphia, and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufacturing and Commerce.
Professor Black has lectured all over the world and has written over eighty books, particularly on eighteenth century British politics and international relations. He specialises in military and polical history, and the history of international affairs. Recent books have including analyses of Waterloo and of the Napoleonic Empire, and the acclaimed London: A History.
