As Managing Director of Justgiving.com, Anne-Marie Huby provides simple tools for individuals to raise funds for the causes they care about.
Bringing technology within reach of even the smallest charities, the site has helped raise over £10m for good causes. The idea has even started to change the way the sector operates, with far less reliance on old methods like direct mail.
Anne-Marie was previously Executive Director of Medecins Sans Frontieres UK, the Nobel Prize-winning aid organisation. She claims the best leadership comes from questioning, working alongside rather than above her team.
Anne-Marie originally served as head of communications at MSF International in Brussels. She completed field assignments in Somalia, Ethiopia and Mozambique, and acted as media spokesperson during the Rwandan and Bosnian conflicts.
She speaks fluent English, French and German.
