The Umbilical Brothers are an extraordinary blend of comedy, physical skills and vocal ingenuity. With tightly choreographed mayhem, David and Shane create an imaginary world full of adventures - where absolutely anything can happen.

The first Umbilical routine was born in Sydney when the two drama students began adding sound effects to liven up a dull mime sequence. With David performing the physical and Shane the vocal, the act soon extended into re-voicing film sequences.

The Umbilicals began to appear on numerous television shows in Australia and then in Britain. The universal appeal of the humour has taken them to all the world's leading festivals, from Edinburgh to Montreal, Melbourne and Hong Kong.
