The Magnets are Britain's leading a cappella act. They never attempt to mimic instruments - instead they just blend six distinctive voices to create a sound rivalling any band with guitars and keyboards.

With a true international following, the six-piece group have garnered rave reviews at concerts and festivals from Glastonbury to Singapore and Russia. In 2010 they also enjoyed a sell-out run on the Edinburgh Fringe. They wow audiences around the world with their vocal dexterity and magical arrangements of pop stars from Bowie to Blur.

The Magnets' rendition of Scissor Sisters' I Don't Feel Like Dancing has become a YouTube classic. Meanwhile their take on Lady Gaga's Poker Face broke new ground as an iPhone app, allowing users to mix their own version.

The Magnets have supported Tom Jones on tour, played for the Queen's Jubilee and performed eight times for Elle Macpherson in her own front room. Amongst the most popular features of their live shows are the A to Z medleys - weaving together songs from AC/DC to The Zutons, or film themes from The A-Team to Zulu.
