A Londoner born in Kenya to Indian parents and educated in the US, Imran Yusuf is one of the freshest, most distinctive new voices in comedy.

The former video games designer is a natural performer. His furiously energetic, street-smart presence and rapid-fire delivery has made him live hit around the country and earned him a Best Newcomer nomination at Edinburgh.

Imran has been billed as 'the hardest working' comedian in the UK. TV and radio credits already include The Now Show, The News Quiz, and Michael McIntryre's Comedy Roadshow and to add to that will soon be the debut of The Imran Yusuf Show for BBC 3.

His take on the world encompasses everything from Americans' view of Brits (via the medium of online gaming), to preconceptions of Africa, religion and dating - all deftly delivered with bundles of charm and a scattering of the latest slang.
