BIOGRAPHY
The original Players comprised Neil Mullarkey, Paul Merton, Lee Simpson and Jim Sweeney, soon joined by Josie Lawrence and Richard Vranch. Although the line-up constantly evolves, all the performers are drawn from the front ranks at London's Comedy Store.
Driven by audience suggestions, the show is based on the improv games made famous on Whose Line Is It Anyway? Guests are encouraged to call out film genres, unusual locations, occupations, emotions, song styles and story titles - around which the Players create instant sketches with hilarious results.
The Comedy Store Players have performed in every setting imaginable from intimate dinner parties to large scale conferences. No two shows are ever quite the same.
