Biography

Brian Conley is one of Britain's most versatile entertainers. With credits stretching from primetime variety and chat shows through to West End musicals, he is firmly established as a household name.

Brian started out as a Bluecoat at Pontin's. After a stint as a warm up act for Terry Wogan and Kenny Everett, it wasn’t long before he was appearing on Live from the Palladium. The Brian Conley Show followed, showcasing his skills as an all-round entertainer appealing across the generations.

Brian then took to the West End stage. He won an Olivier for his portrayal of Al Jolson, before charming audiences in Stephen Fry’s adaptation of Me and My Girl. Other theatre credits include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, numerous pantos and ‘An Audience with Brian Conley’ - another chance to show his versatility as a comedian, singer, magician and actor. He even added dancing to his list of skills with a stint in Strictly Come Dancing.

Brian has appeared in films alongside Eddie Izzard, Christian Bale and Sean Bean; he has also starred in TV drama, including Jennifer Saunders’ Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle, The Grimleys and Miss Marple. Added to that he has recorded with the London Philharmonic, addressed the Oxford Union and appeared as a special guest on Bob Hope’s final world tour.
