BIOGRAPHY
Few drivers can boast Martin Brundle's depth of experience after thirteen years racing in F1. Bringing all this knowledge to his new career in punditry, Martin reveals the tussles between Button, Hamilton & Co in his inimitable pit-lane reports. The Times hails him as 'the greatest TV analyst in this or any other sport.'
Martin's career took off when he was matched against the late Ayrton Senna in the Formula 3 Championship. Despite nine consecutive defeats by the Brazilian, he vowed never to give up. On the 10th occasion he turned the tables, and thereafter their duel produced the best F3 series in history. Senna finally won through, but both graduated to F1 the following season.
A great deal of bad luck prevented Martin from fulfilling his potential in single seaters, with broken bones and technical problems hampering his efforts. He did achieve considerably more success in other disciplines, becoming World Sportscar Champion and emerging victorious at Le Mans 24.
