BIOGRAPHY
Mark Nicholas fronted cricket coverage on Channel 4 until it moved to Sky. He then joined Richie Benaud in the commentary box for Australia's Nine Network. In a sport which often attracts talented communicators, Mark's suave style makes him a favourite.
As a player Mark captained Hampshire for ten years, leading them to two Benson & Hedges Cup victories and the NatWest Trophy. He also led the England 'A' side that toured Zimbabwe.
Mark was voted Sports Presenter of the Year by the Royal Television Society. He writes for the Daily Telegraph, plays "exhibition golf without the exhibition swing" and occasionally presents shows like ITV's Survivor.
