BIOGRAPHY
Frances originally trained as a conference interpreter at the European Commission. She worked for heads of state and G7 governments, but her career took a different turn when she accompanied her husband, cricketer Phil Edmonds, on England's tour of the West Indies. She a wrote a controversial best-seller, Another Bloody Tour.
She has since published Cricket XXXX Cricket and Members Only, in search of signs of independent, intelligent life in Westminster. Her novels, Samson and Delilah, Star of Heaven and Games were equally successful. Then, in another departure, she wrote Winning at the Game of Life.
Winning is a study of the techniques adopted by captains of industry and sporting heroes. Frances talks about the lessons she has learned, about travelling the world as a cricketing WAG and life on the international conference circuit. With a mix of jokes and motivational nuggets, she shows communication at its best and worst.
Frances contributes to The Times, Telegraph and Daily Mail. And as well as writing on property, she has founded her own building company specialising in renovating exclusive homes - including Madonna's London mansion.
