"Both brilliant. Very funny, easy to work with, and enjoyed by all of our clients."

BIOGRAPHY
John Bird and John Fortune have produced some of the most sharply observed political satire of the last few decades. Often collaborating with Rory Bremner, they have completed four series of the BAFTA winning Bremner, Bird and Fortune.
They began working together at the Establishment Club in London and New York, the birthplace of the 1960s satire boom, working alongside the likes of Barry Humphies, Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, Ned Sherrin and David Frost.
Both as The Long Johns and Bird and Fortune, they have become famous for their extended satirical snipes at aspects of British business or political life, presented in the form of face-to-face TV interviews.
Studying their all-too-real topics in advance - huge payouts to company directors, privatisation, the cynicism behind Budget announcements, and so on - they deliver largely improvised pieces. Taking it in turns to be the interviewer and interviewee, the latter would either avoid answering, or respond, without shame, in a way that revealed startling hypocrisy, greed or inefficiency.
Other examples of their collaborations are Rory Bremner, Who Else..?, The Late Show, two Election specials entitled Three Men and a Vote and three Long Johns Election Shows.
John Fortune and John Bird continue to write and perform their self-contained cabarets for corporate clients.
